For your convenience, our Housing and Travel Department coordinates ground transportation and calculates mileage reimbursements for driving to and from your assignment. When you fly to your assignment, your ground transportation expenses from the airport to the hotel/apartment will be paid in your first paycheck.
If you drive to your assignment, mileage will be reimbursed at a pre-determined mileage allowance based on each individual assignment.

With the assistance of our full service Travel Department we assist you in your flight plans or submitting your documentation for mileage to payroll for your first paycheck.

Upon leaving your assignment the return portion will be paid in Payroll as well. This is a non-taxed reimbursement.

Can I provide my own housing while on my travel RN assignment?
Yes, if you'd like and if the facility agrees, we will pay you a housing allowance in your paycheck. On a regular travel assignment with 36 plus hours per week, we will pay you a pre-determined housing allowance based on the cost of living in each individual assignment.

Am I allowed to bring pets to my assignment?
You can bring pets to an assignment, but only if you provide your own housing. The housing allowance may not apply to some travel RN positions, so check with your recruiter. We also provide private single supplement housing, which sometimes allows pets in the hotel. There may be an extra charge or deposit for this - check with your Recruiter.

Am I under any obligation when I submit an application?

No. Your application is simply used to qualify you for travel so that if and when you are ready we can match you with an assignment. Once your credentials are verified, you will have the opportunity to explore available assignments and will work with your Nurse Recruiter to find the assignments you want. As a professional courtesy, we ask that prior to giving us your approval to submit your profile to a specific assignment you notify us of any other assignments you are considering elsewhere. Once you have selected a specific assignment and given your approval to submit your profile to them, we will arrange an interview. Once you have given this approval, if the hospital makes an offer and the assignment begins within the appropriate timeframe you are professionally obligated to accept the assignment.

How much will I be paid and how often?

Pay rates depend on the facility and location, however they will be competitive by region. Many facilities offer sign up or completion bonuses. Travelers may choose to have their pay check directly deposited into a bank account or visa e-cash data card issued to you we do not issue checks. All of these details will be made clear long before you accept an assignment. In some cases we can pay daily to your visa account.
